Coins for Change

Okay, I know you all have spare change. Everyone does. I'm up to my eyeballs in pennies because, let's face it, we just don't use change like we did when we thought the stuff from the quarter machines was quality. So what do you do with all that spare coinage? I put mine in a bottle. Some leave it in their pockets or purses. Some throw it on the ground.

Well, here's an alternative: donate it. Even if it's just pennies.

World AIDS Day is December 1st (and the unveiling of the Wall of Hope). I'm hoping to also present at least $100 to the ONE Campaign for children in Africa suffering from AIDS.

So here's the plan:
Collect as much change as you can. From anyone you can. Let's see if we can't make just $100. Who knows? We could raise more!
Also, I'm looking for someone to sort of "head up" the project in areas I can't personally reach everyday. This person would be in charge of collecting, counting, and posting the total for each week under this topic. They would hold on to the container that their area used to collect the change. I will, of course, head up the UNCC area, provide containers, advertisement, ideas, etc. You can even get up a team if you want. See which school can raise the most or something. Get your youth group involved.
If you're interested, please send me an email with your name, email address, and the area you want to cover. If you want to donate, please email me and I'll let you know where to send the money.
So go get 'em! I know we can do this!
